Very cute, I really like the design. I also split the tail in half and print seperately. That way the tail need no support, has a very nice finished and the seam between the tail is barely visible.
Hello!
I really liked the design. I'm leaving a comment so you can improve it. When I remove the paper, the top part sometimes lifts up. Can you design an anchoring system with magnets or a clamp?
Love this little guy. Printed beautifully, all parts fit perfectly, and it looks great on our coffee table. I appreciate you making this available. Thanks for all you share.
Love this design and it printed beautifully. One issue you might want to address is to have a taller variation. The shortest tissue box I could find in my grocery store(New York) is 80.5 mm. So it leaves a gap when assembled. Pretty sure 80.5 to 81 mm tall is the standard in the US
thanks for letting me know.
you could also scale this up in Z direction in the slicer, as a quick-fix.
I'll try to add a taller version end of this week
all the best
Hallo,
I was so fascinated of this wall that I'll overles out that you need a minimum space of 253mm - ich habe leider nur 250mm.
kann man das irgendwie anpasse ? Wäre super schade, wenn ich die Datei umsonst gekauft hätte.
We love the design! But as some others noted a taller version would be nice. I'm going to hunt around for a smaller box, but with allergies in this house, we go through a big box frequently. I'm sure its a US thing to have over sized boxes. But the height and width are the same on our boxes. Might be able to slice and stretch it to fit. Otherwise love it!
Love the design, looks very cool. Any chance to make walls thinner? I would like to try sell it, but it's takes more than 500gr and it's really hard to make affordable price..
Thanks a lot,! 🙏 I really appreciate the feedback. For this design I decided to keep the walls as they are, it’s part of what gives the piece its stability and look. I totally understand that the material use makes it harder for resale, but at the moment I don’t plan on making thinner-wall versions. Hope you still enjoy the model as it is
printed wonderfully, doesnt fit large boxes here in us however, also tried to stretch the z up to kinda "fix" it, but that also scales the socket for the tail, so then the tail doesnt fit :( time to find small boxes of tissue!
The box that my family uses has 124 tissues in it and measures at 227mm long x 95mm tall x 126mm deep. I'm in the US but with my woodworking I use millimeters to measure everything, to get a more accurate measurement.
Hello! I absolutely love this design but the tissue boxes in Australia are a slightly different size (L21xW12xD10cm) how would I go about scaling the design to those dimensions? I’m pretty new the all this..
Thanks!

hello, welchen drucker hast du denn?
du könntest probieren es zu drehen, vll geht es sich diagonal aus. Auf dem Prusa MK4 sollte es sich drucken lassen.
Ich habe den Kobra S1 - werde ich testen, danke ☺️
I've added a australia version with 23cmx12cmx11cm maybe it fits your needs :)
Thank you so much for the wonderful design. Is it possible to download the tail and the upper part separately?
Hi, for the Tail and Upper part use this STL: WhaleTissueBox_UpperPart_Blue.stl
you can right click and split to objects.
but i highly recommend using the provided 3mf iif possible
Thanks, found lt.

hi,
schick mir doch das 3mf file von deinem slicer (inkl. einstellungen) per mail, dann schau ich mal drüber
