I love these bins! Even more modular than the original gridfinity bins. I made a bunch of remixes and even made snap-in dividers to go inside empty bins and split them up.
printed with .6mm Nozzle @ .25mm height and some at .3 and even .4mm WARNING: .4 was too sketchy, However with the petg its still strong just see some daylight through some spots.
this is an awesome design coupled together with tacgriz dividers its almost perfect. But I do have issues customizing it further and I wanted to ask if it was done in fusion , will you agree to share the f3d file.
again thank you very much
I really like the design, unfortunately after printing the 4x5 out, the squares around the edge don't take any of the Gridfinity bins I've printed, likewise if I try to put two next to each other, they are slightly too close top each other.
Only had my printed a couple of weeks so probably user error by me
Looking forward to trying these! FYI, when opening the 3mf files in Bambu Studio, it asks if you want to scale it to mm for some reason (correct answer is "no") and if you want to group it into one object with multiple parts (correct answer is yes), then it asks to repair non-manifold edges.
I really like this! Thank you for creating them!
Not only do they save filament and modular if you replace a tool...They look SO much better than the original bin design.
I have printed about 8 out already, and started making some inserts.
One question/thought.
Maybe there is a reason why your bottom lip is the same as the top lip?
My inserts keeps dropping through past both lips.
I might remix some bins with a little larger bottom lip to keep the inserts from going deeper into the bin.
I am super excited that you liked and printed them!
I did not test them with PETG yet. Good call with the bottom lip! I only made them symmetrical to save filament, so feel free to enlarge the bottom lip. For the inserts, if you use the reinforced ones they should stay in place, but I agree that maybe for heavier items, a bigger bottom lip should further stabilize the insert lid. Thanks for your feedback! It's much appreciated!

Would you mind also adding 5u height versions? It's a typical size and 6 does not fit inside of my drawer...
Very nice work, thank you for this. Would appreciate half-spaced bottoms and also half sizes (1.5x1x6 for example).

Hello ImprovedByDesign. I made myself some 4U, 8U and 12U versions of these (for my use). I can share if useful at all.
Please share it!
Hi, I'd appreciate some taller versions if you'd make them available!
Also looking for 4U, 8U and 12U versions.
Perfection! Glad i found them. And thank you so much for doing STEP files, awesome!

Any chance you can make a variation that includes the magnet holders?
