AEROPOD - Cone Basic - Set

AEROPOD - Cone Basic - Set

Description

A flower pot system to prevent overwatering. Through decades of experience in growing crops and house plants, especially in public spaces, we came up with the AEROPOD system. Four distinct sizes and two shapes are the start of this line up.

Airflow

Plants take in oxygen through their roots, thats why most plants don't like to be submerged in water for longer periods. The AEROPOD System allows water to drain away quickly and for air to circulate efficiently.

Modularity

Achieve immaculate printability and easy customizability. Changing to a new sleeve or playing with color, without the need to reprint the entire thing, is made easy.

Design

The design focusses around printability, which we executed down to the seam. With a flat style, we wanted to ensure that every print will simply look stunning.

Material

Polymakers PolyTerra's matt finish and wide range of colors goes hand in hand with this simple design. Unless placed in hot environments, PLA is the ideal choice.

Printing

Everything can be printed with 0% infill and 2 perimeters, besides the AEROPOD. This one is printed in vase-mode and ideally with a 0.6mm nozzle. The core is oriented upside-down and we recommend a brim if you have issues with bed-adhesion. If you want the best surface finish possible, print all parts separately to avoid sudden-layertime-change-artifacts.

Tip of the print!

3D printed parts get leaky overtime. We use Dichtol to make our tray properly watertight.
