🕊️ Design Process: Stylized Bird Sculpture
I recently worked on this bird model with raised wings, focusing on clean feather layering and a dynamic pose.
Workflow:
- Sculpted and refined the model in Blender
- Focused on feather flow and symmetry to keep it visually balanced
- Simplified certain areas to make it more 3D-print friendly
Print Check:
Before exporting, I ran the model through Bambu Studio to:
- Check overhangs and support needs
- Make sure the wing angles are printable
- Adjust thickness where needed
This helped avoid issues before even slicing 👍
