They have holes now
This is the first expansion pack of my modular and stackable box system BOXY!
I have been printing a lot of boxes lately to reorganize various messy drawers or corners of my home. I realized that when you stack a big box onto a smaller one, you basically have a planter that is only missing the holes. I managed to build a fusion file that is compatible with my python scripts that I built to produce all the box sizes. This was tricky because each size of the planter has a different number of holes, but I got it working after a few days.
Since the boxes print super-fast and I have way too many plants I went on a major repotting mission. All indoor plants that did not yet sit in one of my own designs got their boxy plant. I managed to print all of the pots that you see in the photos in just 24 hours with a P1S, A1 and A1 mini.
Since this is all compatible with the main system, you can basically create endless possibilities of setups. A nursery for tiny plants, a desktop setup that has both plants and boxes or just some extra storage below the drip tray – all possible and easy to implement.
Have fun printing
