 The recent poll in my discord had a clear winner: A rock wall shelf.

I like trees a lot but recently rock formations have drawn my attention. I found a cool one high up in the Slovenian mountains and 3d scanned it. This is bear territory so I got out quickly and only checked on the scans when I was back home. When rotating the scan around I noticed the face in the rock! Of course I had to use this scan for the project.

 A lot of the rock was covered in moss that was not scannable, so I had to remove it. This did not look cool on my first prototype, so I had to invent a few parts that were covered. This was a fun little creative exercise, so I enjoyed it.

To make this an actual shelf I used my old reliable wall holder design and off to printer it went. It took three prototypes to get just right, a little less than usual.

I hung the protypes over my desk while working on it and I already love it a lot!
