The infinite Notebook
For years I have been telling people that my Notebook design series is the best thing I ever made. I stand by this claim because I have used it every single day for many years and just love it.
One thing bothered me though. The original V1 folded completely flat which was super ergonomic for writing. I had to sacrifice this feature for the V2 and V3 to integrate the pencil case. It was a well calculated trade-off but in the back of my head I always yearned for the flatness if the V1.
I finally found a way to merge both of these features into a brand-new design. I redesigned the entire thing from scratch and also implemented a couple new features that people have been asking about. You have six spine sizes to create bigger books and even archives for existing notes. With the new flat shape, the pencil case now sits on the outside. Since you take it out when writing this is the one spot where there is enough volume to place it without hindering while writing. I added a 3d printed pen design that you might recognize from Frank the Frog. It uses the same BIC crystal fine – in my opinion the best pen ever created. The new closing mechanism is also more ergonomic since you don’t have to reach all the way back anymore. But the best thing is that this new design allowed me to make smaller versions again! A thing many people have been asking for. So, we got DINA4, DinA5, US Letter and US half Letter version, each with 6 different spines!
