A table? A TABLE!
My biggest 3d printing project so far! An actual coffee table! Inspired by these yummy, twisted marshmallows, this design looks really cool and unique!
I heavily optimized the files to printable on a regular sized print bed and work with either single or multi color setup. All you need extra is glue!
I tested the assembly extensively and I can say that this design managed to support 80 KG when printed in normal PLA. These are my own personal results, and I do not advise using this as chair! This is a coffee table!
Honestly the most difficult part of this project was the math – getting this right with all of the variables and curves was a headache. The rest was just printing and breaking the prototypes repeatedly.
