FIDO - Felines In, Dogs Out

This week's design solves one of two problems, depending on your situation.

1. You have at least one cat and at least one dog. The cat needs access to certain rooms that the dog shouldn't have access to (because, for example, dogs eat cat poop).

2. You have a cat. Your cat does not tolerate closed doors.

FIDO solves these problems by holding your door just slightly ajar - wide enough for most cats and too narrow for most dogs. The latch position is adjustable by way of a satisfying snapping mechanism. The knob side of FIDO is made to stretch around any door knob or lever.

It's convenient to latch and unlatch FIDO from either side of the door, so it doesn't get in the way.
