I became OBSESSED with these adorable sushis! I printed nothing else for like two weeks! I made so many different combinations and most of them turned out soooo gorgeous. The only ones I didn't love were because I tried to use filament I had on hand and the colors didn't fit or wipe properly, given I didn't adjust settings to adapt. I'm new at this! I also got a message from my bambu slicer that told me the rice should be "simplified" and both the rice and the filling needed to get "fixed" by a 3rd party site because of "manifold edges"(???), and this got confusing for me. Also, I purchased the keychain attachment from the link, but it didn't come with any directions and felt overall too small anyway, so I will have to go in person to a craft store to find the right kind of keychain. That kind of thing can be so hard to buy online since there's no sense of scale. Any advice would be welcome because I know this is what everyone I know is getting for Christmas! Delightful!!!!
I finally got around to hooking up the AMS system on my A1 mini and this was the first print to come off it!! The only part not done on this printer was the tray, which was printed on a P1P
Overall love this! However, the color-switching ends up bleeding the darker color into the lighter one more than I would like. Any suggestions to fix this? I understand it probably controls waste but I would like an option to have more waste and cleaner colors. TIA! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1obF_iPlThp-0fpDooyHftpijHxV13IKV/view?usp=sharing
Hi! You are expieriencing color bleed, to fix this you will have to increse your flushing volumes in the slicer (this can be found in project filament). The 3mf is set up for the filaments we used, so if you are using other filaments you will have to adjust your flushing volumes to work for your filaments. you can use something like this -> https://makerworld.com/en/models/112380-ams-purge-calibration-v2?from=search#profileId-129748 to help determine the best flushing volume for your filament.
When I try to load in the .3mf, Anycubic and Cura both say that the object size is 0. Creality brings it in, but no colors assigned? Looking to have the colors pre-assigned rather than needing to paint the model. Can anyone help with this.
The colour changes for the lids seem fairly excessive, between 100-200 changes. Is this correct? Or is there a way to reduce this, such as separating the colours and gluing after?
i love this print but the chopstick pen doesn't seem right. in some photos it breaks halfway up the shaft and then the print i just did the pen is at the end of the shaft. i bought some g2 pen inserts but they're not the right dimension. is there a way to change this so they accept $1 box of bic pens instead of $20 for 6 g2 gel inserts?
Hey! Loving this print. I do have one comment. I noticed that pen cap hole is slightly off center and doesn't sit correctly. Was this intentional or am I doing something wrong? Thanks.
The lid is designed so that you can color paint the letters in the tray. The letters are small enough so they don’t show up unless they are color painted.
Discussions — Sushi Supplements - Weekly Pill container and Keychains
I subscribed after seeing your sushi design. Do you have any plans to try making Korean food "Kimbap"?
The links for Instructions, Hardware and Filaments seem to be from another model.
Hi — any suggestions for how one might try to print this without an AMS? Do you have the files for separate, glue-able pieces?
Hi, I do not have a non-ams version. However, you can print it in a single color and hand paint it if you'd like.
How do you attach the keychain? I ordered the suggested ones but there are no instructions
HI, There is a hole in the sushi toppers where you can attatch the keychains.

That makes sense and thank you so much!

Sorry for just getting back to you. You can also use Bambu Studio for the pre-painted 3mf file.
I was able to use AnycubicSlicerNext app to bring the mpf files with predefined colors.

Yeah that's correct. That's the nature of mulitcolor printing for a model like this
What color did you use for the Chop Sticks?
The one he put. I printed everything out of the things that he put

The chopstick was redeisgned to be at the end. Its waayy better to use that way than breaking in the middle.
The G2 pens should fit with a little bit of force. But i’ll take that suggestion and see what i can do with it

If you rotate it 180 degrees does it sit center?
No. But I figured out if I push the pen in further it isn't as noticable.
I can't seem to get the tray lid to have the days of the week written on them. Any advice for what i'm doing wrong?
The lid is designed so that you can color paint the letters in the tray. The letters are small enough so they don’t show up unless they are color painted.
Are you using a multi-material printer?
ohhh ok, Yes i'm using a bambu. I will try to color paint them tonight
eu store redirect gets rid of the variant part of the link
I added the color names to help you out!
All the links for the filament lead to the white Bambu filament. Could you add the color names?
Added the color names for you
