so, I wanted to add a waste item (a fidget printed from all the color swaps) and I got an error that say the prime tower is only supported when all objects have the same variable layer height. My wast object is set to the same layer height as the cacti. and ive turned on the variable layer height function for my wast object in Bambu studio, but it still isn't working. Is there something unique in you layer height that I'm missing?

For purge/ waste objects in bambu studio you have to turn the adaptive layer height off completely for it to work, unless you are using a clone of the object. Here is a video that explains it better: https://youtu.be/pbdCg5eKZ60

bambu studio is recommending I enable supports. Should I do that? or print as is without supports enabled?

You shouldn't need supports. You can disregard the warning. Just be sure that you have really good build plate adhesion.

Does one need to glue the clickers in or is just clicking them into place sufficient?

Anyone else have issues printing the green cacti with the white dots? I printed 16 of them last night, took 11 hours on my X1C and not a single one is usable. The top of everyone single one is trashed. :(

What does the top look like? are the layer lines bad or did the print come off the build plate?

Make sure you are using adaptive layers at the top of the print for a smoother top surface

Hello, love your models. I printed these three cacti in single color as a test. As the three arm cacti has two very small holes in the base plate and one of the others almost has a hole. I was wondering if you happen to have an idea what I might be doing wrong. I'm printing on a Bambu X1C with their PLA Basic. I do plan on using their PLA Matte once I get the right colors in. I just thought I'd reach out and see if you had any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I'm sorry the print didn't go well! Did you use the 3mf? The dirt is really thin so you need adaptive layer height to cover the gaps. Adaptive layer height also helps the dirt print more realistically.
