These printed great for me. I know some people had difficulty with them fitting onto the key switches but mine weren’t bad at all. And any problems I did have were easily fixed with a heat gun. I’m going to get better switches for my next batch that are more “Clicky” 🤣
Colors are Bambu Labs Matte dark green, Matte Late Brown, and matte dark red for the cacti, the pots are Polyterra Marble sandstone and OVV3D Teak Wood.
Printed the pots on a Bambu A1 Mini & the caps on A1. Used SuperTack plate for both & had no adhesion issues.
After printing the ones in the photo, I set the seam to back so that it would not have a disjointed seam on the pots & instead has a seam straight down the back.
Filament used: ERYONE Olive Green, PolyLite Cream, ERYONE Red Matte, ERYONE Matte Pottery Red
I don't understand how I'm the only one having this issue. But I've now printed 20 of these and I have to shave all the bottom corners off (see cacti on right) or it gets stuck in the down position in the pot.
lol so now that you have pack 2, what are the odds that we can get these remixed to match? The dirt on the bottom and the better MX fit on the new pack are phenomenal. It would be nice if they both had them.
took 4 failed prints all with the center post not sticking for me to realize that the center post of the cacti cluster is lifted off the build plate by 1 layer causing it to never stick properly and fail the print every time. lowered it 0.1mm down into the plate and it printed fine. May want to make an adjustment on that one
Odd question, but would it be possible to get the ball cactus WITHOUT the flower? That would be perfect for a project I'm working on right now.
Printed perfectly on my A1. Looks lovely with Sunlu Matte Olive Green and Meta Cream White.
The keyswitches should fit snug into the pot. Sometimes you may need to bend or snip off the metal prongs on the bottom, if you aren't fitting properly. Otherwise super glue can be used. You just have to be careful not to clue the key switch components together.
The two multi color cacti work great for me. The single color 6 arm cacti sticks in the down position. I've had pretty good luck fixing it by shaving off all the points on the base with a deburring tool but that's a big hassle. Does anyone have any suggestions what I may be doing wrong? I'm printing on an X1C with all Bambu filament.
Anyone having issues with adhesion? The pots keep moving when I print. I used Creality Print to slice. I even tried slowing down print speed (that helped but I still didn't make it the whole way...).
Yes!!! Came here to research this! Four attempts and the big fat cactus fails every time, even after using adhesive on the plate, and slowing down all layers. I'm about to delete that one from the print and just print the other two. So frustrated. LOL
Hi, you want to make sure you have a clean buildplate (washed with dish soap and warm water). Adding a brim can help sometimes as well as adding some glue to you plate (for pei plate). You may also need to increasy your pate temeture if you're still having issues

This old pack just got updated with the newer fit, no dirt was added but they have the updated cut geometry.

Thank you for pointing that out. It has been fixed.

What does everyone use to secure the switch to the base? Super glue?

Super cute, but for the life of me, I can't get the clicker and cactus to click together.

We had no adhesion issues, however, I generally stick to 20-30mm/s for the first layer
