I print so many of these cactus coasters and I love them! The orange/ green are my favorite color combo but they look great in single color too! I will say the multi-color coasters take a long time to print but that’s for obvious reasons.
Very cute! I do think the peg in the dirt base could be stronger though. The whole thing is a bit wobbly and the magnets are helping but I wish it was a little more secure! Also I printed all 6 and realized one fits inside the pot!
Thangs is being weird and I can't reply to your comment, but its 3 walls, 10% Gyroid. They are printing solid but I notice for some reason there is a cavity UNDER the peg when slicing, that might be cauing some of the weakness.
I printed these and bought the linked magnets, but the coasters seem to be too heavy to stay attached. Usually a small bump will cause them to all fall off. What was your infill %?
Is it possible to download the plant and the dots in different colors? I didn't expect to have to color every dot manually, and wouldn't have bought the design if I knew this earlier. Hope it's possible. Thank you!
It is possible. Think of each of the colors I have painted as locations to colors in the printer. Change the first or second color to what you would prefer on the AMS of the printer and it will print how you want it to even though the slicer has it another color.
If you want to have multiple dot colors on one plant then you will have to manually paint the dots to match your vision though.
I got the pot and the dirt disc printed so far. They fit together perfectly. However, I am having trouble getting the magnets to fit into the slots on the dirt. I bought the ones from the link. What nozzle size and other specifications should I be using? I used a 4mm nozzle. I would also like to know for the pegs.
Yeah its a long print, no way around it since they look 100x better when printed vertically. However, you can print several and add almost no extra print time since most of the time is spent doing color changes

Yeah this was a tough model to make it still stand but not have thick ugly connections. This was the happy middle ground
I've already had two break on me 😭
The pegs in the dirt? oh that's interesting, what infill are you using?

The peg now prints sideways and is much stronger!

The infill used is 8% which is half what I normally use so this could be your issue.
I have the same problem. The magnets are too weak to hold the coasters together. They just fall off.

This print doesn’t work on my Bambu Lab A1 3D Printer. The cactus coasters keep on falling off the build plate before they are done printing
Use a 0.02mm brim object gap. Plenty of glue, and gyroid infill
Okay I'll try again. Do you recommend printing all them together or one by one?
If you are having issues it can help to print one by one, but I did print all of them simultaneously.
Help, any advice on printing the coaster, had them fail 5 times now about at 60% done, I have added a 10mm brim and they still fall over.
Based on what you said it seems like your nozzle may be colliding with the print and knocking them over while doing travels.
To fix that, you can increase your z-hop distance! not sure what slicer you're using, but here's how to do that in Bambu Slicer: https://www.reddit.com/r/BambuLab/comments/zwumgy/zhop/
Or search "How to increase z-hop distance in insert slicer here"
This model isn't included in the membership plan anymore?
It is included! There could be a few reasons why you aren’t able to download:
Please let me know if you are still unable to download after checking those 3 things

I use a .4 mm nozzle. Place the magnet on a table and push the cactus leaf onto it. It takes a bit of force
Got them in! Thank you!
What's the print time with multi color?
1 day 9 hours on p1s, ouch
