I wanted to try something diffferent.
A bit more spring-like blossem fantasy tree if thats even a thing haha.
If u do like it, please like my make!
I used Polyterra Muted white for the tree, Bambu Matte Dark brown for the base and Candy Pink from Polyterra for the leaves. It was a fun make to do!
I have printed the pot and the feet so far and I love how they look so far but I have noticed that the hot end rubbed as it was printing on the top and I can't figure out why. The drawer makes a horrible noise when it is opened and closed but can't see any specific issue and if I close the drawer all the way it pushed the back foot off. I printed from the easy print file and I am using pla.
HI! When you say it rubbed on the top surface, do you mean like ironing? If not it could be that the print may have warped on a corner while printing (pulled itself off the print bed) and that can cause a few issues including the feet fit issues.
Do you think it would be possible or to add an update that includes more bonsai-looking leaves and/or flowers? I love the idea and always wanted a bonsai but don’t have the patience for it to grow. Would love to print one lol
This is such a great design, thank you! I love the slding leaf slots but found that they "dip" down just a hair - enough to get stuck with the feet. I just imported the feet as a mesh into fusion and trimmed off 3mm from the top and now the drawer doesn't get stuck!
Pretty disappointed in the pot, I printed it twice; first time using the 3mf file without any changes, and the second time with the .97 bridge flow after reading through the comments.
Both end up as shown in the pictures. Wasted 500g of filament, not pleased with this at all. The stringing catches each time the leaf holder is opened and leads to at least 2-3 breaking off each time, making it harder to open over time.
Hi, I'm so sorry that you are disappointed in the print. Since the bridging has to be so large, the stringing can happen like that. A quick fix would be to hit those strings with a torch lighter or heat gun to get them to lay flat and out of the way for when the drawer moves. It would also help prevent more strings from breaking.
Looks the same on mine. I am not happy with the reply, that I should adjust my bridge settings. I will not print 350 Gramms again as a try and error situation. I used ur settings. And printability should be one factor of the design. I am printing on a p1s btw.
Hi, If you used our setting and a P1S it should print the same as ours, as we have also used the P1S to print this design. It could be possible that your nozzle may need replacing or that the filament needs recalibrated. If you haven't already, you can try seperating the drawer from the pot using a flathead screw driver or puddy knife to help seperate the 2 pieces enough for the drawer to slide.
Hi! I’m sorry it’s giving you so much trouble. The pot needs good bridge settings to print well. You may need lower your bridge flow rate by 3% and reprint the pot. That should help. I also updated the 3mf again to lower the bridging flow rate if that helps.
Sorry, this may be an amateur mistake on my part, but are the supports supposed to be on the inside of the pot where the leaf storage is? You have tree supports selected on your print profile, but I'm not able to break the drawer free because of them.
Well I Guess I know why I can't get this thing open. Just a suggestion, I took it down to 5% infill for the base and used Octagram Spiral. Its still pretty strong but saved 115g of filament
Just a heads up. I managed to get it open after breaking it and the area with the leaf storage was filled with supports. I just checked, and the original print profile you posted, which I downloaded about 7:30 last night, has supports on. The new profile you re-uploaded that has the month storage included now does not have supports on the pot, so it works. I'm going to reprint and I love the idea, just wanted to give a heads up.
Hi! I would be happy to help solve this for you! Have you tried sticking something flat like a puddy knife into the slot and try to "pop" the drawer open. Also are you using the 3mf or your own settings. I'm trying to make sure you don't have supports turned on for the drawer, as supports will get in the way and will not allow the drawer to open
I just printed this and it seems to have printed fine except there is no way to open the drawer; there is no separation. Also, the leaf shaped openings inside have supports in them. How would I remove them, if they are buried inside? Has anyone actually been able to use the drawer feature?
HI, I'm sorry to hear that your drawer isn't opening. It does sometimes take some force to open it the first time. I recommend trying to use a flat head screw driver to 'pop' the drawer and pot apart. That should help it slide. There also shouldn't be supports in the pot at all. the supports should be turned off in the 3mf file. If you join our Discord We can also share images and help a lot more in there too!
Hi, we printed this as instructed and cannot get the drawer to open at all. We tried using a flathead as suggested below but the drawer just seems stuck. Any suggestions? We are printing on a Bambu P1S.
Hi, if the other suggestions on here aren’t working, there could be a couple of things going on. First, I would suggest you check your printer nozzle (only if your printer isn’t new) and check it for wear. You may even want to replace it if needed, to see if it’s causing over-extrusion. Second, check your bridge flow rate; reducing it by about 3% should help keep the bridging from causing the print to fusing together.
Hi loving the designs ,
is it possible to provide a 2 pt trunk file ,tried to split then export but shows the error of "no layers" in my creality slicer
when peeling of the support material too much came away from the base - (may try sanding down )
also printing on creality k1max and K1c and done the error of putting the pot (which is bigger then i thought ! ) on the smaller K1c which then i clicked auto scale ! so need to reprint ,
will post pics when complet
Hi, I’m glad you’re enjoying the designs! Sorry to hear you’re running into issues with the Creality slicer not splitting the trunk pieces. From experience, we’ve found that some slicers don’t handle our files very well. I’d recommend trying Bambu Studio, it’s very user-friendly, and you can set up custom printer profiles so it works with almost any printer.
Hi, It may take some work, but as long as it didn't fuse while printing you should be able to bend it just a bit to pop the drawer free and slide it open. You could also use a flathead screwdriver or puddy knife to try and get between the drawer and pot to help it get free. That usually workdd for most people
I'm still having issues with the leaf tray getting stuck inside the pot. The layer above seems to be sticking to the tray. would it still work if I printed the pot and the tray side beside instead of inside the pot? I would normally try it out but I figured Id ask since it uses a good amount of filament and I didn't want to waste anymore. Thank you in advance.
It could be that your bridge flow rate needs adjusting. This print requires a lot of bridging for the pot and if your flow rate is off it can cause the print to fuse. We have it set to 1.6 in the 3mf but you may need to adjust it for your specific printer if the 3mf isn;t working well for you.
Hi, They shouldn't be breaking to get them open. It should only take little bending of the pot to "pop" the drawer free and possibly using something flat, like a putty knife, to help seperate the top of the drawer from the bottom of the pot. Over extrusion of your filament can cause them to fuse so you will want to make sure your settings are dialed in for your printer and filament if they are giving you too much trouble
It should come out. Sometimes you have to bend the print a bit until you hear it "pop" and it should then start to slide out. you can also use a puddy knife or razor to slide inbetween the drawer and the pot to help it unstick.
I am trying this print out, but I have been unsuccessful with the leaves. Every single time one of them gets messed up. Between not adhering to the plate and the tips warping, I have not been successful? I have been using ORCA with an Adventurer 5M. I also realized that the files are made for a Bambu, which I noticed are slightly bigger than the FlashForge. I had to reduce everything down a little bit. Please help, I would like to print this one!
Hi, I am sorry to hear you are having trouble. I would not recommend sizing this file down at all as the tolernaces on the base would be affected and the magnets will not fit properly , causing you more trouble. As for the leaves not adhearing to the build plate, you will want to wash your build plate with warm water and dish soap. You may also need to up your plate tempeture 5-10° to help the adhesion.
Is anyone else getting holes in the tops of their leaves? with only 2 layers over the magnet hole, some of my print lines are separating just slightly and the glue leaks out the holes on top.
I,ve had this problem with every one of forgecores leaves with magnets in them. I use tree supports on the little magnet holes (super easy to remove) and that seems to fix it for me. just my two cents.
The Pot will import into the slicer in the correct orientation, but if in doubt check the helpful instructions in the download, they have print information.
I love the design. I have a small problem. When I put the leaves and rock pieces with the months in the slicer, there are no numbers on the leaves and no writing on the rock pieces. I can just about see them in the preview, but after slicing they are missing.

It’s nice, just weird.
I like the colors and the addition of the butterflies!
I love these colors!!
Great build! Thanks for the support on the discord page!

Maybe the leaves could snap onto the branches and cherry blossom-like flowers could have the magnets with the dates? That would be so cool.
This is such a great design, thank you! I love the slding leaf slots but found that they "dip" down just a hair - enough to get stuck with the feet. I just imported the feet as a mesh into fusion and trimmed off 3mm from the top and now the drawer doesn't get stuck!
I got the pot assembled and I'm having the same issue as well. Is there anyway to get a copy of the modified feet?
Started seeing this issue too. After those lifting plates started to get a little worn in they catch on the feet when they dip down.
This has since been fixed! Those lifters no longer get stuck in the newest version of the files

Hi there! The tree supports are turned on for the entire 3mf, but by object are disabled for the pot.
It may be stuck because of the long bridging overtop the drawer.
You can use a flat head screw driver to and just place the end of it in the seam of the drawer to wiggle it free
Just a heads up. I managed to get it open after breaking it and the area with the leaf storage was filled with supports. I am so so sorry about that! I really appreciate your understanding. Sorry again and thank you for letting me know.
No problem. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the question, I was having the same issue and I'm glad I was able to find the answer.
Is there a place to store the months? Thanks
Sincere Appologies. There were supposed to be month slots in the pot which were not there on the original upload.
I have updated the pot now. Re-download the files and you should have the correct version
Where is the month storage part located in the pot? I just downloaded it and can't seem to find it
Hi, The month cards get stored in the pot, in the build-in drawer. The pot and storage drawer print as one object
The drawer on is fused to the pot! I can't get it unstuck!!

Awesome print! Love the way it came out! Would it be possible to add a version where the tree is one piece? Hard to get the glue seam hidden well.
Hi, I'm glad you like it! We thought of doing one piece, but having it in two makes it print better and fit better on most build plates.
Hi, we printed this as instructed and cannot get the drawer to open at all. We tried using a flathead as suggested below but the drawer just seems stuck. Any suggestions? We are printing on a Bambu P1S.

Can't seem to get the base to open

The month card slots aren't in the pot when I print it. I redownloaded the file yesterday. Any idea?
Hi, I just double checked the file and I am seeing the slots in both the 3mf and stl files. They should be in side the leaf drawer.
I'm still having issues with the leaf tray getting stuck inside the pot. There a trick to getting drawer to open I have broke 3 of them trying to open it?

The drawer is stuck and cannot be moved? Using the 3mf file as printing the pot as a whole. Is there anything I need to double check for the settings?

Hello. The months seem to fit too tightly in the slots. I think you would have to fine tune them a bit.
If your months are a little to tight scale them down to 99%

i cant find the month plates in any of the files
Hi there! The month cards are included with the rock file.
There have also been a number of updates to this model so make sure you have downloaded it in the last couple of days.
And don't worry about your limited downloads. It doesn't use up any of your limited downloads if you have already downloaded the model
i cant find the month plates in any of the files
Hi! The Month Cards are in the 3mf file! They're also in the STL Titled "Rock and Month Cards"
They're the little rectangles. The month names are on the underside. You can check the PDF for this info as well!
I love the design. I have a small problem. When I put the leaves and rock pieces with the months in the slicer, there are no numbers on the leaves and no writing on the rock pieces. I can just about see them in the preview, but after slicing they are missing.
If you use the Easy Print 3mf file the writing is already there! Its on the underside of the models!
to see them just look up underneath the plate
