UGH!

UGH!

Well, this has been an interesting two weeks... Two printers are down and one parent. Unfortunately, my mother fell a couple weeks ago, she's 80 years old, and while fortunately she wasn't majorly injured, she was placed in an assisted living facility for rehabilitation before she can return home. So I haven't had as much time to work on models and to print prototypes as I have been going between work and the home. So progress has been slowed down since I work full-time and am custodian for my mom.

My Kobra 3 printer snapped an x-axis belt (I think the belt was defective) and my Creality K1 is having a thermoresister issue that is causing prints to fail. Part for Kobra 3 will be here today. The Creality K1 I plan on entirely upgrading the extruder. It's been a real pain in the butt since I got it with terrible bed leveling and now this.

Fortunately, it's been Neptune 4 to the rescue, but.... running into issues with a prototype I am working on. Had it fail and break the part, second attempt the power went out in the middle of the night and it couldn't recover, and then just moments ago the support popped loose and broke the part again when it was almost complete. Getting pretty frustrated with it, lol. So going to take it back to design. I redone calibration and leveling and it's dead on. It was heart breaking to have it mess up, the print quality was fantastic.
