Announcement: 3D printing settings

I often get questions about my 3D printing settings, so here’s a quick rundown of my approach:

Same Settings, Every Time:

I test-print each design with 10% infill, 2 walls, and a 0.2 mm layer height. That covers about 99% of my prints!

Adjustments for Small or Fragile Parts:

If the model has delicate features, I lower the layer height to 0.16 mm and raise the infill to about 20%.

Model Orientation:

The biggest factor is often how to place the model. I include a .3mf file showing the orientation that worked for my test print.

Since my basic settings rarely change, I don’t publish them every time. However, if you ever need a reminder or have a specific question, just let me know!
