Print with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.1mm layer height. The model pictured is printed with standard white PLA, but if you want more light, use clear or translucent filament. The parts need to be hollow to allow light to shine up inside. One way to do this is to reduce your line wall count to 1 and set infill density at 0.

For best light transmission, cut the bottom layer off.
