Smart home devices are fine… but I wanted something with actual personality. So I designed the Master Control Disk — a futuristic control center inspired by Tron, built into a literal glowing disk.

It’s a touchscreen smart home controller with customizable LEDs and a rotating set of interfaces. You can check the time, control Spotify, browse photo albums, run a cozy digital fireplace, use a focus timer, and a lot more.

And the best part? It’s designed so anyone can make it at home.

I’ve been working on this for months, and it’s still one of my favorite things I’ve ever built. It just looks so good sitting on a desk, glowing in that sci-fi way.
