More Animus Gen 2 teasers! Image heavy post

Hey folks, still been hammering away at stuff - I checked my most recent models folder (created in July) and it currently has 1041 files in it. Even if we assume 3-5 files per model, that's a LOT.

print_models_folder.pngSee? Sad thing is, that's not even my largest folder of models, nor does it include any of the stuff I've acquired from Thangs, printables, etc.

As you can see up above, I have a new version of Cryocorn I'm designing a base for. So what's been going on? Lots of life - I needed to take a break from constantly working on stuff.

aethertusk_print.jpgAethertusk is more or less ready! The print came out really nice, though I don't know how printable it is on FDM. That clear blue resin makes it look pretty cool though.

Now for an image dump showing some of the models - they need paint, bases and posing (for the most part). Hope you enjoy this little teaser!

toxolotl_hd.jpgGen 2 Toxolotl! This is more or less how they look when they've been fed to serve as filters rather than just being toxic. Pale with hints of color that intensify and spread as the level of toxins in their body increases.

chronosteed_hd.jpgGen 2 Chronosteed! The "clockwork horse" thing definitely comes across better here.

magnetolon_warrior_hd.jpgGen 2's Magnetolon Guardian - I'm not sure if I ever showed the gen 1 version, so this may be a "new" creature to a lot of you. Sentient or not, I wouldn't want to get on that guy's bad side.

metamorax_hd.jpgGen 2 Metamorax - he looks more "goopy", which fits with the whole kirby/blob frog thing he has going on.

nocturnis_hd.jpgNocturnis' Gen 2 version is a lot more detailed - this is one of the creatures that probably most needed the update.

gemmother_hd.jpgGemmother's gen 2 version gets across the "elemental gem creature" vibe a lot better than the old version.

poseidonox_hd.jpgPoseidonox's gen 2 form has an overall better shape, and the tail actually kinda has the "fish tail" thing I was going for.

florantula_hd.jpgLast but not least, Florantula gen 2. It's... not the most printable design, but it gets the plant-arachnid thing I was going for a lot better than the original.

I have several others still being worked on, and each of these needs to be painted, rigged, have a base designed for it, and be re-worked a bit for printability. I also have a TON of other models I need to finish and clean up, some designed for printing, some designed with other purposes in mind.

Anyway, if you're reading this, I appreciate you sticking with it. I'm working, I just have a LOT of projects, and honestly kinda burned myself out.
