Hi there!
We have tried this design 3 times and we’ve tried 3 different colours of filaments but every time it comes out stringy and furry, we were wondering if you have any ideas why this is happening or how to stop it!
Hi, I have the same question as another commenter about the separate tail file. They asked if the tail is just to make the dragon longer, and how to connect it if that's the case. Thanks in advance!
Please forgive my dumb question, but why is there a separate file for just the tail? Is that to make the dragon longer? If yes, how do they get connected?
I keep getting an error that this has floating regions, please reorient or add supports. Do I disregard that message? I hadn't changed anything on it. Also, should this take about a day to print?
if i were to scale this down would it still articulate the way it should ? and also you crystalized egg would it work with this dragon at 100 % scale thank you
Hi there! So all my models generally get tested between 60-100% size. The eggs are also, for the most part 1:1 tho for winged dragons adding 5-10% can help :)
i assume it would because when i put them in my slicing software the egg was much bigger, in material the egg was 200g bigger than the dragon, the size difference is there, time can take into account from what i can tell the dragon would fit but i have not printed either, this hopefully is helpful but i haven't printed them to find out sorry.
i did not put into account are how the joints may move im going to print both anyway so i will tell you when i know but i will also most likely forget but if i don't i will let you know if you need it.

Hi! The prints look great 👏 Could you kindly share which filament you used (type and brand)? I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!

Why is it like 100% infill even when I configure 15%? There are some locations where 15% is correct. Cura 5.10.1
Would PETG work as well as PLA and with a 0.4mm nozzle?
Yep!
The print messed up with 30 min left on the top half of the wings, any suggestions? I should i just print again and hope for the best?
Slow down and use brims!

Yep you can disregard it! Depending on the printer, that time sounds right as well
