As an avid fighting game fan, I've watched the landscape change from the gamepads of old, to fight sticks, and now we are in the age of leverless controllers (if only we could've just called the design hitboxes) So I couldn't help myself and decided to design a few myself. After taking the time to prototype the design i decided to share this one with everyone out there, It is a six button fighter design, very classic, very demure, Great for Street Fighter, Skullgirls, BlazBlue, Guilty Gear, Also kind of usable for Four Button Fighters like MvC, MK,
It is designed to be used with a GP2040-CE these are open source and allow for magic boot adaption for PS5/Xbox Series X compatibility.
You are always welcome to use the more respected Brook Universal Fighting Board as well, just know that neither the GP2040-CE nor the Brook Universal Fighting Board are licensed by PlayStation or Xbox and will have to be updated to ensure they operate properly. this isn't any shade towards Brook, I just want it to be clear that Sony and Microsoft haven't made any partnerships for Fighting Boards officially as of the creation of this post (8/20/2024)
