It came out nicely; thanks again. Nothing stuck; no knife was needed. The test file is great.

How long is it fully extended and how long is just the blade fully extended?

M M

Do i need a base cause it wont every stick to the bed

I dont, If you use a brim it could be hard to get the sections loose.

I was wondering how many grams of filament it uses to print.

I printed the sword but in the end it didn't come out at all and I also tried other files and it didn't work, do you know maybe what problem I have with the printer and how to solve it because I have no idea?

Maybe the trouble shooting guide can help? There is a test print you can download too to help tune your printer.

I think around 180mm or so.

should i use an exacto knife to get the blade unstuck

3D Printing World

If it’s just stuck because the first layer was to low.

No matter what I do, the top blade get's stuck inside, no issues with bed adhesion, already checked

Hmm. Adhesion is the only thing I can think of. Does it have a issue with the overhang on the tip?

Printed nearly perfect, the top of the blade did have hard plastic bits on it that I had to sand off, but the blade itself is longer than expected and the handle adds a very stylistic aspect to it, with plenty of room to grab on to. 9.5/10. Well done!

Thanks for the feedback. Do you know what caused the issue?

This thing printed almost perfectly. The very end of the blade doesn’t want to come out. Any ideas on how to get it out or what to do different if I reprint it?

I would guess that the center blade came loose from the bed causing it to wiggle.

Wonderful print on my Bambu P1S although the blades are a teeny tiny bit stiff. Can whip it out mostly but need to use a fair bit of force to get the blades back in. Would I need to reduce the line width or something by a miniscule amount?

3D Printing World

Line width won’t make a difference because the slicer would just account for it, but if you lower your flow rate it should have the desired effect. I would suggest 3-5% for a little change. You could also achieve the same effect if your slicer has “horizontal line compensation”
