There is already .35mm of clearance though...

I would love to see a detachable blade/hilt cap variant of this one. Of all the collapsable blade models, this is the most popular in my household and the one that most often binds after printing. I can get it to around a 50/50 shot of the blades not binding when I print below 30mm speed, but I haven't been able to find any flow or temp settings that seem to affect this chance at all.

Aside from the ease of replacing a single blade segment(and ideally being able to print in vase mode), This would be a lot easier to avoid the binding problems entirely and replace the inevitably broken blade segments. Awesome model aside from that. Nicely done.

If you are using a .4mm nozzle, default width should work fine.

Hey, Just wondering if the detachable blade version is out yet?

I have not figured a good way to do it yet. I'll keep thinking or maybe modify the design a little.

Hi I printed this for my friend but when in took it off the build plate the blade wouldn't come out after closer inspection it looks like a layer shift but the hilt didn't shift so I don't know whats happened I have printed you katanas perfectly before so if you could release the collapsing dagger again but just the blade so I can reprint the blade that would be AMAZING. thx for reading

Sorry, Its not possible to print the blade separately and insert it after printing.
