Was surprised that the strings actually printed. I was really unsure about that. Beautiful model.

there is a mistake in one line in the right sail. one top line is not connected to the end : on the 70p version. must be corrected and for printers if they see the sail lines disappear in the print there is an option in the slicer "Detect thin walls" if you enable it the sail lines will come back and won't be ignored.

Hi I love all you boats! could they be printed with .6 nozzle?

Hey there ,i did try to make it as well, but the sail doesn't come nice to be honest. Any advice to help me sort this problem? All sail comes perfect ,but the strings don't

Long time since your post, but you may help us with info (Printer, Slizer, Wall-type, other settings etc.) so we can help. ;-) Out of the blue this isn't really possible. You printed in 0.21 and with wall-type "Arachne", when using a Bambulap? Prusa slizer doesn't need that setting for instance. Bambulap slizer does.

I have attempted to print this beautiful boat several time. Unfortunately, the strings in the sail always disappear after slicing in Bambu.

use arachne

Are supports needed for the Sail, or maybe lower speed?

No, just print as normal :)

Awesome work! Not sure what this means, but when I open up all 3 stl's in Bambu Studio for the Mac I get this error msg: I don't have a PC or CAD app to fix this. Using a BL P1S printer. Thank you!

"Object name: Hull.stl Size: 165.352 x 56 x 46.8041 mm Volume: 97184.4 mm3 Triangles: 15590 Error: 756 non-manifold edges. Tips: "Fix Model" feature is currently only on Windows. Please repair the model on Bambu Studio(Windows) or in CAD software.

it means the file is not solid, such as a cube that its sides aren't completely closed, it happens sometimes in models if someone uses a surface instead of a body to create the model. here is a solution I found. Online Repair Services: There are online services like Netfabb or MakePrintable that can repair STL files. You can upload your model, fix it online, and then download the repaired file

Thank you for the explanation. After watching a few YT videos yesterday, I installed VMware on my Mac running Windows 11 ARM. Then installed Winapp version of Bambu Studio and was able to repair stl's.

You can opt to repair the model but I wouldn't worry too much it will print absolutely fine without being repaired too. :)

Good to know, thank you! I will try it on my next print.
