Hi, I am trying to print this on my A1 Mini, but I don't see the stringing lines (in the sails). Did I do something wrong? My layer height is set to 0.3. Or do I also need to do something with the walls?

edit: never mind use arachne wallgenration

hey there, how did it goes? I'm trying to figure it out how to scale it down to be able to print it on my A1 Mini...Could you please help me a bit? Because I'm unsure how to down scale hull. Also, could you please let me know how were you able to set 0.3 layer height - I did it, but at the same time Bambu alert me about something (not sure about what exatcly tho).

Gorgeous !!! Fantastic !!! I didn't know it was possible to print this way... But I'm looking for a tutorial for modeling on Fusion360 or other of this type of "weave"... can someone help me because I don't find nothing...

Hello, about to print it with my X1 Carbon. I'm using the 0.4 nozzle but my slicer Bambu Studio does not let me to set the layer height to 0.3mm...

Edit: to increase layer height, go to machine settings and edit the nozzle settings, extruder tab, you can increase the max layer height there. :D

Another question; do I need to see that the lines conforming the sails are bridges or outter wall? My slicer are showing to me this lines as outter wall...

Can this be printed on the Bambu Labs X1?

Yes indeed. Why not? I recently did and it came out rather nicely.

May you please share some key settings you used in prusaSlicer? Specifically the speed?

  1. Thank you! Because of you my wife is finally excited about my new 3D printing hobby. :)
  2. You have a version of the sail boat which is green and gold, which filament did you use for that? I'm hoping it wasn't painted after the fact but would love to try my best to replicate it!

Thanks for uploading this beautiful model. I am trying to slice it in Prusa slicer Version 2.4.2+win64 and i am receiving a prompt stating that there are 12 open edges and wants to fix with netfabb. Is anyone else getting the same message? Should I fix it with netfabb or is it ok to slice and print? Cura 5 also prompts with model errors. TIA for any thoughts regardig this. Forgive my noob-ness. :-P

It should be ok to print, this message is normally related to layer height. Do you have both your layer height and initial layer height set to 0.3mm? I wouldn't fix it :)
