A Great and Beautiful model. Easy to print. Printed on Bambu X1C for my needs I printed at .20 layer height with the .04 nozzle. I used Bambu Studio to paint the colors using the height tool. I used archne wall generator as recommended.
Thank You for the model keep up the great work 🙏😀
It's not clear if it's printed flat or standing up and also not clear where the filament swaps would go. If you put them in and save at a 3mf file instead of STL that would eliminate any questions about it.
I printed it last night. Ended up with a couple thin layers of blue for a translucent effect for a light source, then mostly white, and a few top layers of black in my case. Looks AWESOME
Thanks for your comments. I've never used painting to specify colors in a print. Can this be done in the bambu slicing program or some other app like MS Paint? Sorry for the dumb questions. I've had a need to specify colors in a print. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :-)
Can I print this using a Bambu X1 Carbon with AMS? Can the AMS be loaded with the different color filaments to make the print proceed unattended? If not, how do you print using filament swaps?
I think the way to handle it is painting. I picked white as the base color because I could see the sections. Select paint color, black for frame in my case. Use fill and click on areas of the frame. Select color for santa rig, repeat painting those sections. I think this should work. Unfortunately my machine is blissfully moving over the bed, no filament coming out. Will deal with that in the am.
Thanks very much for this awesome design! Printed great on my old Creality Ender 5 in about 10 hours. I used 0.24 layer height with a 0.06mm nozzle. Sliced using Prusa Slicer.

The lighting in this picture is beautiful
Thank you
Can you provide the layer heights for color changes.
Going to try this print. How are you all doing the lighting? Thanx, Jim

I get a slicing error when I try to slice this STL, can anyone help?
I don't understand

Looks great. Could you say a little more about the filament swaps? Are you doing it by layer or is it multi color on a given layer?
Nice...so this is 2 or 3 colour print?

Can anybody explain to me how this app works? I'm new here

yes it can. I'm about to try. Hope the color switches work. enable prime tower to avoid one color bleeding into another
