Make in Bambu basic PLA red on the P1S. I'm excited to gift this to my father who LOVES jigsaw puzzles. I specifically kept this one color to make it "impossible."

Hi, I noticed that 2 of the puzzle pieces are fused as 1 and I'm having a hard time separating them. Any idea where I can download the 2 separate pieces?

Try open a new copy of the model, right click on it and choose 'Split'...this will separate the individual components, allowing you to print just the ones you need.

After 7 excruciating hours, this made a great gift for a family member who's deep into puzzles. Can't wait to hear from them what they think of it!

This is very impressive, good job!

Do you have a copy of the original picture before it was turned into a puzzle? I would like to print this off as a gift and include a picture of what it is supposed to look like, but without the extra little clues that can be seen in the photos above.

Unfortunately I can't find the original picture but I have added a screenshot of the design before the pieces were cut out. Will this do?

That is perfect! Thank you so much :)

How do you add a second color? The stl only asks for 1 filament choice. (I'm relatively new to printing) Any help explaining would be great. Thanks.

Oh, so that’s why it’s impossible

There's an error in this model still T_T someone pointed it out in another comment and I just saw it in my print, two pieces print at the same time as one piece.

when i download the file and try and slice in orca it gets to 25% and just doesn't finish slicing any thoughts?

I'm having the same exact problem. I was thinking it was a troll of making the impossible puzzle, impossible to print. However, I see other people managed to print it out.

I created a test file of the upper left corner of 9 pieces to dial in your printer for this amazing print. I noticed though you don't allow re-mixes for this. May I post this test file to save others some work and frustration?

I'm having issues... I can't slice it in CURA.. what do you use? I tried 3 different formats as well.

I noticed 2 of the pieces were joined together in the model and cut them apart after printing. From the top left, 5 in, 4/5 down. Awesome model!

is it me or does it look streched? I mean the puzzle pieces themselfes, not the motive.

They are a little longer in one direction, the idea being this makes it slightly easier to do the puzzle because you know which way round they are :)

Hi, how do you paint the black on once its printed?

Michael R
mr.zeus7

You may be able to use your printer to pause it at whatever level and switch filaments, would be much easier if you can do that.

Suraj R

@mr.zeus7, that's really smart, thank you for the tip!
