New Membership Tiers & Benefits

Hey everyone! 

Long post but I think it’s worth the read. 

This is an announcement I’m pretty excited about.  Over the last 6 months, our community has grown with increased membership both on Patreon and Thangs.  Our TikTok continues to grow and since we started posting weekly videos on Youtube we’ve been gaining about 1,000 subs per month.
 

Because of all that there has been a lot of increased traffic in our DMs. On Discord, on our TikTok, and elsewhere.  What I’ve learned through this is though people love our models there is a need for more education around taking the models (mine or your own) and creating an actual business around it. 

For some of you OGs around here you’ve probably put bits and pieces of my story together (I don’t think I’ve ever done a full video, probably should do that).  It probably won’t come as a surprise but 3d printing is not the first business I’ve built. 

So an effort to merge these two things of model creation & creating a 3d printing business we are doing some updates to our membership tiers.

You’ll see that these new tiers are for people who want to take 3d printing to the next level.  

For those of you who just want the models, we will keep pumping them out and the price for the tier will not change.  If you have aspirations bigger than that though and you want more access to both myself and my systems, best practices etc. Perhaps these new tiers are for you.

I think the new “Farm Director” tier is probably the right tier for most of you if you are looking for more.  This will get you much more access to me in group settings as well as a much more detailed look into how we find products, create them, list them, etc.  Sneak peak…personalized products are huge on Etsy and we began to tap into that this year.  How we create these will be one of the first things I’ll be sharing. 

The “Farm Founder” will not be for everyone. In fact there will be a limited number of spots available.  I’ve had more than a handful of people reach out looking for more of a mentor-mentee relationship.  This will be that tier (or at least my version of it).  Obviously, there is a lot more 1 on 1 time with myself and because of that we will be limiting the number of people in this tier ( I do still have business, TikTok, and YouTube pages to run :) ).
 

We will be using Discord heavily to release the different benefits that aren’t models to the different tiers. So expect to see some changes roll out soon. The benefits for the higher tiers will be released based on your discord role which is assigned to you based on your Thangs membership. Because of this make sure to have your Discord and Thangs linked so that at signup Thangs can assign you the proper role when joining.

I’ll always take constructive feedback though so if you think there is something not in these tiers that you’d like to see let me know.  Or if you have questions on what a benefit is and my vision behind it tag me in a comment on Discord and we can start a discussion.
