The spacing/tolerances are small if it's not moving freely off the build plate gently push on the different sections to loosen them. What type of filament did you use for it?
sliding figets have even more tight tolerances than other fidget toys. The sliding has to be very smooth, if there's any stepping on the layers it adds a lot of friction. I've printed five of them. On each I did have to pry the pieces apart because there was some fusion but i also added wd40 to get things smooth to start sliding. It is a fun toy. You'd have to have a very fine tuned printer specifically for this to get it work right off the plate. I also increase the size.

Same. Mine is a brick. Followed directions with no support and 0% infill.
