I wanted to print out filiptheking's "flower" but when I tried to slice it in Cura it would not sit flat. The first layer always showed a little area touching the build plate and the next layer being the full first layer.

I put his file into meshmixer and just used the "plane cut" feature to chop off the bottom layer to make it sit flat.
