Hextraction Dual Pachinko Tile(s)
!!!! THIS HAS NOT BEEN TEST-PRINTED YET. PRINT AT OWN RISK !!!!
you know the immediate pachinko play we all know and love? what if there was two times the pachinko. what then. think about it. that's right.
(from built for two page) print one top, one bottom, and two links. use M2x8 screws to connect it up. it'll be a very loose fit - this is important to make it fit all kinds of boards.
(from pachinko page) after printing, wedge some small pieces of filament into the holes to make the pegs. if the holes come out too small, touch up with a 2mm drill. you can also use M2 screws.
this is mostly just a smashing together of @ZachFreedman's Built For Two tile and his Pachinko Tile. thanks to him for those, and for hextraction as a whole!
feel free to send any questions/feedback to me on discord! i'm in voidstar lab, just search my name

where am I supposed to insert the screws, and there's no integrated threads in the holes soooo,
also, I indented a word saying, pachinko on the bottom part in blender, cause why not:)
This is a great idea for a tile - I ran a set of these and for the most part they came out great. The one big issue is that the Dual Pachinko Bottom fits everything great, but the slots for the links on Dual Pachinko Top aren't deep enough to fit the links. Keep up the good work!
ah, ok i figured it out and fixed it. the "top" tile was the problem one that you'll have to reprint. sorry about that, but thanks for telling me!
Vertically, on the Bottom tile the links bottom out before they do on the top. This also means that the links physically don't fit to install them at all because they run into the bottoms of the slots a few mm before they're deep enough to fit the screws (or filament scraps) into place. If you look at both tiles from the link side, you'll see the bottoms of the link slots are not at the same height.
hm, interesting. i ripped the links part and link from the tile for two, so i'm not exactly sure what went wrong here. it looks like they fit in the do not print file. or do you mean like vertically deep?
