This Mermaid Shell Chalice is a decorative fantasy goblet design with a flowing mermaid tail stem and a wide shell-shaped cup. It has a soft oceanic silhouette with a slightly dark fairytale feel, making it a nice fit for mermaid decor, fantasy table settings, gothic ocean themes, cosplay props, altar decor, shelf displays, and underwater-inspired dioramas.

This model is especially good for people who like ocean fantasy, siren aesthetics, underwater royalty, and mythical decor. It can be printed as a large display piece or scaled down for miniatures, doll scenes, fantasy table builds, and collectible setups.

Great for:

mermaid themed decor fantasy shelf styling siren and ocean-inspired displays gothic mermaid aesthetics costume and cosplay props altar or ritual-style fantasy decor miniature fantasy scenes dollhouse or collectible display pieces

🖨️ Printing Instructions

Recommended materials:

PLA PLA+ PETG resin for smaller, more detailed versions

General tips:

A 0.12–0.20 mm layer height will help preserve the smooth curves and shell ridges. Print with enough walls to keep the bowl and tail sturdy. Depending on orientation, supports may be needed, especially under the bowl and around the tail curvature. For a cleaner finish, choose an orientation that reduces visible support marks on the outer decorative surfaces. If printing large, consider checking the balance of the model and increasing infill in the base.

For larger display prints:

PLA+ or PETG can be a good choice for added strength. Add more walls for the tail/stem area. Extra infill in the base can help the final piece feel more stable.

This model is best treated as decorative unless you use a properly food-safe finishing process and materials suited for that purpose. For most users, it is safest to consider it a display goblet / prop piece, not drinkware.
