Battery Insert Adapter for WOLFANG GA420
A custom‑designed battery insert adapter made specifically for the WOLFANG GA420 action camera. This insert allows you to power the camera using an alternative battery setup.
When purchasing the GA420, there were batteries advertised as compatible — same brand family, same voltage, and similar capacity. However, the replacement battery available at the time was a different physical size, making it impossible to use directly in the camera. This STL provides a practical solution: an insert that fills the battery compartment and allows you to route power from an external or differently sized battery safely and cleanly.
Features
Precise fit for the WOLFANG GA420 battery compartment Clean internal channel for routing power leads Snug, stable insertion with reliable tolerances Compatible with both FDM and resin (SLA/DLP/LCD) printingPrinting Notes
Do not use PLA — the GA420 is known to run warm, and PLA may soften or deform
Recommended materials: ABS, Nylon, or PETG for heat resistance and durability
Use a 0.2 mm nozzle (or finer) — the walls are thin and benefit from higher precision
Print with 0% infill — the model is designed with thin walls and does not require internal structure
Standard 0.2 mm layer height for FDM
Resin prints offer excellent dimensional accuracy
No supports required (if true for your model)
Depending on your build surface, a brim may be needed — the main wall is thin and benefits from extra adhesion
Slow print speeds recommended: around 50 mm/s for cleaner walls and better dimensional accuracy
Approximate print time: around 10 minutes at 50mm/s
Material usage: roughly 20 g total
