Steampunk Cat Lamp – 3D Printed Gothic Industrial Light (LED Fairy Lights or E14 Fitting Compatible)

This design features a stylized cat head with a monocle-style mechanical eye, sculpted whiskers, riveted detailing, and a warm glowing translucent top section that beautifully diffuses light. The industrial base is decorated with steampunk-inspired paneling, bolts, and pipe accents for a fully immersive mechanical look.

• Translucent PLA (amber/orange) for glowing head
• Metallic bronze or copper base
• Dry brushed antique gold highlights
• Satin or gloss clear coat finish
• For the base, I applied Raw Umber as the undercoat and orange, followed by Pale Gold dry-brushed highlights to bring out the mechanical detailing and depth.

On the cat’s face and monocle area, I lightly dry-brushed Pale Gold to accentuate the sculpted features, enhancing the contours and bringing the character to life.

🛠️ Lamp DIY Note: You will need to supply your own LED light source. I used an E14 screw-type Edison bulb socket (not included). You only need the screw socket, see image.

Recommended printing:

• Material: PLA, PETG, or resin
• Layer height: 0.2mm (FDM)
• Infill: 10–15%.
• Sparse Infill Pattern: Gyroid.
• Tested with Bambu PS1.

⚠️ Use low-heat LED bulbs only. Not intended for high-temperature lighting.

UPDATE: Use Cat_Base_Small.stl and Cat_Head_Small.stl if you only intend to use fairy lights, smaller model and support free!
