This medieval-style puzzle chest is a compact 3D box made from 11 uniquely shaped parts that lock together into a solid, satisfying form. Each piece slides and nests into place, creating a sturdy little chest that feels good to handle and fun to figure out.

The design plays with the idea of hidden construction, where the structure isn’t obvious at first glance. The assembly process becomes part of the experience, encouraging slow, thoughtful problem-solving instead of instant results. The medieval chest shape adds character without being overly detailed, making it approachable to print while still feeling special when it clicks together for the first time.

This design is also part of a personal challenge I’m doing for the year 2026: designing and releasing a brand new 3D printable model every single day for an entire year.
