This model is restricted by licensing terms. 

A surreal bookend that looks like a real book. The design is 3d scanned and based on a book from 1537. It comes with compartment for your secrets and a holder that lets it tilt up to 20 degrees.

Instructions

  • Print all parts
  • Insert the front of the pages into the cover and fix it in place with glue
  • Assembly the closing mechanism according to the images
  • Glue in the mechanism
  • Insert the holder and place the page lid on top

Print settings Required build volume: 160 x 160 x 230 mm Material usage: 450 g

Material: PLA Print direction: files are rotated correctly Support: none Nozzle size: 0,4 mm Line width: 0,4 mm Layer height 0,2 mm Infill: 30% for the holder, 15% for all other parts Build plate adhesion type: a brim for pages_front, none for all other parts Outer walls: 5 for the holder, 2 for all other parts The pages_top look best if you use adaptive layer height
