These dual-color mushroom caps are compatible with all of my previously posted modular mushroom sets! This set comes with a basic gill, stem and bottom attachments to get you going. See below for links to many more compatible mushroom options!

See here for video: https://youtu.be/AOeaYmY1D0M

Files for single colour printing are provided as well.

Select a “Cap Surface” file and import it into your slicer along with the “Cap Inside Colour” file. Merge the files and assign them to the appropriate extruder as per your slicer and printer setup.

“Bottom Cap Screw” allows you to use a screw to attach the mushroom to a surface. “Bottom Cap Magnet” has a spot for a 1/4” x 1/8” cylindrical magnet to let you attach the mushroom on to a metal surface. “Bottom Cap Plain” has a plain, smooth surface.

Is it possible to do the two color cap with a printer that only has one extruder? i.e. it prints the inside color, pause, change filament then have it finish the print? I have a flash forge adventurer 3 pro and really want the two colors, but am limited to flash print and don't know how to make this work, or if it can.

I was able to make it work by trimming/sanding about 1/16" off the bottom of the "cap inside color". As it prints it's too big to push into the cap without breaking, but I trimmed too much my first try and the inside color piece rattles in the cap. It's tricky but do-able!

Did the same (trimming a little bit at a time until it snapped in), and it works, but meh. I consider Dave to be a total genius, but this design, IMO, is a miss from an engineering POV. The inner cap should be designed as a separate printable part that just inserts between the cap and gills. There's just no practical need to print the two colors at the same time, it just wastes time and a lot of filament.
