This Dragonfly Spine Hugger is a member-exclusive model (Patreon, Thangs, MMF) designed to pair perfectly with the previously released Butterfly and Dragon spine huggers. It’s a simple, whimsical bookshelf accent that slips right between two books, adding a little charm without taking up extra space.

The model prints in two parts:

• The dragonfly

• A thin spine insert that slides between books

The dragonfly mounts cleanly onto the insert. I glued mine in place, but it’s a quick and easy assembly either way.

Print Details (tested):

• 2 walls

• 10% gyroid infill

• 0.12 layer height

Multi-Color Print

• 32g of filament

• 3 hours (Bambu Lab A1)

• Spine insert prints in just minutes

For my prints, I used Sparkle Silk Red Gradient (Amolen), Galaxy Blue (Flashforge), and Onyx Galaxy Black (Bambu Lab)—all of which turned out great and really help the dragonfly pop on the shelf.

These are fast, low-filament prints that are perfect for batch printing and offer solid margins for anyone selling physical prints. Simple, elegant, and shelf-friendly.
