A tiny guardian watching over its glowing firefly companion.

The 3DL Guardian Frog & Firefly was created for the “Guardians of the Garden” contest and is designed to feel like a cozy little creature hiding among the plants at night. The frog gently watches over a glowing firefly resting on a lily pad pond display illuminated by an RGB puck light.

This model is designed to print easily while still creating a magical display piece for desks, shelves, plant setups, and garden spaces.

For my version, I used glow-in-the-dark filament for the firefly to create an extra magical nighttime effect, but standard white filament also works beautifully.

Base Assembly The stone section is the bottom base of the display. Place the water piece on top of the stone base and twist gently to lock it into place. The lily pads then sit on top of the water surface. Important Placement Tip Look carefully at the rocks around the base. Each rock includes a squared corner that helps align the water section correctly during assembly. If the fit feels off, rotate the water section until the rock shapes line up properly.

The frog itself can safely be displayed outdoors, but the RGB puck light is not designed for rain or long-term outdoor weather exposure. Please keep the light protected from water and moisture.
